COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE
Committee Purpose:
Evaluates all correspondence (website, stationary, and newsletter). Collect, compile, evaluate and publish data to improve information contained in the annual Reference Book. Help with solicitation of advertisers in the publication.
Committee Staffing:
The committee shall consist of a Chairman/woman and at least 5 to 8 committee members. The Chairman shall appoint the Communications Committee Chair. The chair with the help of the existing committee members shall appoint committee members.
Committee Meetings:
The Committee shall meet as needed, but shall attempt to meet at least four (4) times per year.
Committee Responsibilities:
- Evaluates all correspondence (website, stationary, and newsletter) to ensure that all materials convey BOMA’s image and logo and colors are consistent through out.
- Reviews and makes improvements on an annual basis to the contents in the Reference Book.
- Determines subjects of interest or need in the office building industry that could best be presented in published form.
- Provides any technical or professional expertise as may be necessary.
- Assists in the marketing and promotion efforts to solicit advertisements in the book.
- Develops annual budget for inclusion in association budget and approval by the Board.
- Submits committee report for inclusion at the Board meetings.
