EMERGING LEADERS COMMITTEE
Committee Purpose:
Preparing the next generation of commercial property owners, asset, portfolio, and property managers, engineers, and other professionals is critical to our industry.
Committee Staffing:
The committee shall consist of a Chairman/woman and at least 8 to 10 committee members.
The Chair shall appoint the Emerging Leaders Committee Chairman/woman and the Emerging Leaders Committee Chair with the help of the committee shall appoint the committee members.
Committee Meetings:
The Emerging Leaders Committee shall meet as needed, but shall attempt to meet at least three times per year.
Committee Responsibilities:
- Create a number of initiatives to engage the next generation of professionals, increase their industry knowledge, and provide opportunities for leadership development.
- This mentoring program will pair seasoned BOMA members with those who have less than 5 years of experience in the industry.
- Allow experienced members provide professional guidance as well as a deeper appreciation for the resources and connections that BOMA involvement can provide.
