UTILITIES COMMITTEE
Committee Staffing:
The committee shall consist of a Chairman/woman and at least 5-6 members. The committee chair shall be appointed by the Chairman and will appoint the Utilities Committee chairman/woman and the Utilities Chairman/woman with the help of the committee shall appoint additional committee members.
Committee Meetings:
The Utilities Committee shall meet as needed.
Committee Responsibilities:
- Monitoring matters before state regulatory agencies.
- Investigate and recommend actions on:
- Energy conservation
- Cost savings/avoidance
- Request for proposals
- Legal actions with regard to tariff issues
- Educate Members in matter related utility issues.
- Communicate with the Board of Directors and membership on the status of issues and the results of actions taken.
- All actions regarding BOMA International related programs should be taken into consideration.
