MEAction is a global organization that works to raise awareness, funding, research, and treatment for people living with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (formerly known and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome - written as ME/CFS) and other infection associated chronic illness like Long Covid. ME/CFS is a debilitating and life altering neuro immune illness for which there is currently no cure, limited research, and scarce treatment options that leaves literally millions of people homebound and bed bound without any hope to return to a meaningful and fulfilling life. ME/CFS is not a rare illness. It literally effects millions of people globally and too many people are needlessly suffering. #MillionsMissing is an annual campaign designed to raise awareness of the medical, social, financial, and policy needs for the ME/CFS patient population.
